Gasoline Prices Keep Falling But Relief Could Be Short Lived

The daily Ticker -- Prices at the pump have fallen 6.19 cents per gallon in the past two weeks and are down more than 12 cents from the year-to-date high in early April according to the latest Lundberg Survey that tracks 2,500 stations across the country. The decline in gasoline prices mirrors the slump in U.S. oil prices, which are off 12.5 percent since May 1.

Oil broke its six-day losing streak on Monday, gaining half a percent after China vowed it would do more to boost domestic economic growth and Goldman Sachs released a report that said oil supplies are "increasingly constrained" because Iranian exports have fallen.

Here in the Columbus area an x-senator has something like 18 Shell stations. We have a Meijers store that posted at $3.999. This is where greed & corrupt starts.

They are NOT supply and demand driven. They ARE driven by speculators. Pure, simple and true. We are being fleeced and these guys are ignorantly or willfully giving cover to the speculator scum. BHO & Co. are colluding as they love high prices to promote their greenie agenda while destroying the US economy at the same time. To them it is a twofer. Green is red. They climbed from April 29 until May 15 here. The average price in Los Angeles is $4.34. Thanks to Obama and to the DemocRATS elected in California, prices will start climbing again very soon.
