I drive an F150 and can see down into many smaller cars and it is alarming to see so many drivers using cell phones. While northbound on the 400 a driver passed me doing about 140KPM, Seat tilted back like a lounge chair, left foot on the dash and cell in right hand. These idiots are endangering our lives. Perhaps we should post their license plate numbers here.

Any comments?

It needs to be made as socially unacceptable as drinking/driving for a start. Police need to be much more aggressive with targeting this offense on a constant never ending basis.

I agree, People still drive and use a hand held cell to talk or text. Many are younger drivers since they are part of a generation that needs to be in contact so one. Another type of offender seems to be those who wants to appear to be "ALL Important". Of course, there are quite a few drivers out there who JUST DO NOT HAVE ANY BUSINESS BEING IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT!

Unfortunately, not enough of them are being caught. Perhaps, police should have the right to confiscate the device for 7 days like they do for those extreme speeders / racers.
